About painting
Do you remember the last time you played?
Playing means losing yourself completely in an activity. In moments like these, you are 100 percent focused on what you are doing, in flow and in touch with yourself. You are creative and imaginative because you shape the course of the game in a way that feels right for you in that moment.

“Those who play are alive!” This is the motto of intuitive painting at Grünhof.

Explore your flow state by engaging in the play of colors. Without pressure, without judgment, without comparison, without interpretation, and without guidelines.

Simply apply paint to the paper and let yourself be surprised by what develops and emerges. You don't need any prior knowledge or artistic skills. Just a little desire for color and new experiences. This allows you to give yourself inner space, get in touch with your feelings, and take a break from your everyday life.

About the process
Everyone paints standing up, on their own picture. While you paint, you don't have to worry about anything. All materials, a palette with 20 high-quality paints and brushes, as well as paper, are already prepared for you. 

To help you get into mindful painting in the best possible way, Beatrix will accompany and assist you. Neither she nor any of the other participants will interfere with your painting process, comment on your painting, or evaluate it. This allows you to fully immerse yourself in the experience.

After a brief introduction and explanation of a few important rules, you can get started. The paints are water-soluble. If you wish, you are welcome to bring a painting smock (an apron or an old shirt).

About the painting guide
Beatrix has always had a passion for art and design. She studied media design at the Cooperative State University in Ravensburg and worked as an art director at various large and small agencies before becoming a freelance UX/UI designer in 2012. 

For Beatrix, painting is a wonderful way to express herself and get in touch with her inner self. She wants to share this experience and benefit with others and now offers group painting sessions as a newly trained painting instructor.
